I took a gap year in 2020, and during it, I came to the scary realization that it was possible I would find I didn't have what it takes to be a storyteller. This video essay, which took me nine months to research, write, direct, animate, edit, score, and voiceover, was me proving to myself that I could take something inherently boring like the history of a website and use it to create a compelling narrative.
